The 2014 World Latte Art Championship pits champion baristas from 32 nations against each other to see who can create the most beautiful, engaging latte art creations, using both free pour and etching techniques. From those 32 competitors, six finalists advanced to compete on Finals Sunday at the 2014 Melbourne International Coffee Expo. From those six, Christian Ullrich from Germany emerged victorious as the 2014 World Latte Art Champion.

For his designer latte, Ullrich poured the “Turtle”, while his macchiato and free pour latte were both complicated multi-tulip variations. He called time at 8:06 for a -2 point penalty.
