Hello and welcome! Welcome to the 2017 United States Barista Championship, coming to you live and in full effect from beautiful, complicated Seattle, Washington.

This year’s competition brings together 36 competitors from two separate regions across the United States, all of whom battled it out to be here at the 2017 USBC Qualifying Events. They’ll compete all weekend long in a points-based tournament of skill and stamina, geared around the art of making delicious espresso beverages.Action begins Friday, April 21st at 9am PST. 6 baristas will advance to Semi-Finals Saturday to meet the 12 highest scoring baristas from the Qualifying Events, and just 6 will move on from there to compete at Finals Sunday.
