2019 World Barista Championship Day One Recap

Welcome to Day One of the World Barista Championship here in Boston, Massachusetts! We’re going to see 28 competitors across three stages in a jam packed, whip-fast seven hours of barista action. This year’s WBC added a live scoring element, giving the day’s routines more of a sense of immediacy. Competitors eyes are all affixed to screens in hopes of finding out if their Semi-Finals dreams were still alive. We’ll be updating this post with live scores and competitor photos as they happen so stay tuned!
